Anh Khoa
Co-founder
The Story
  • MiYork Education was born from Khoa's dream of having a mentor to guide him throughout his high school and university years.
  • Since 2019, Anh Khoa has supported over 100 Vietnamese students in securing full scholarships in more than 27 countries worldwide.
  • His mentorship approach focuses on empowering students through entrepreneurship, scientific research, and initiating impactful social projects that benefit their communities.
Achievements
  • Doctoral Researcher in Strategic Management and International Business, Peking University (Full Scholarship).
  • Bachelor’s Degree from New York University Abu Dhabi (Full Scholarship).
  • Supported over 300 students across 21 countries in gaining admission to highly prestigious universities such as Harvard, Oxford, Cambridge, and Stanford.
  • 4 years of experience in impact investment research and public policy development with professors from New York University, Cambridge, and Stanford.
Anh Tuyet
Co-founder
The Story
  • Growing up in the mountainous region of Đắk Nông, Ánh Tuyết has always been determined to bring more accessible educational opportunities to all Vietnamese students.
  • Her mentorship approach involves helping students identify their dream careers and the social issues they deeply care about.
  • She then provides students with hands-on career experiences and opportunities to address these social challenges through collaborations with MiYork's partners.
Achievements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Strategic Finance and Business Development, Minerva University (Full Scholarship).
  • Former Admissions Assistant at Minerva University and Fulbright University Vietnam.
  • Tuyết's students have gained admission to prestigious universities such as Princeton, Cornell, Stanford, Duke, and Oxford.
  • 3 years of experience working at tech-education and fintech companies, as well as investment funds in the U.S., India, and Vietnam.
Thuan An
Co-founder
The Story:
  • Having ventured into the wider world during high school at UWC ISAK Japan and then securing a full scholarship to Cornell University, Thuận An (also known as Vừng) deeply understands the challenges Vietnamese youth face in pursuing their dreams of attending top global universities.
  • With expertise in online project management and media, Vừng supports MiYork members in building meaningful, community-focused extracurricular activities and amplifying their positive impact to inspire those around them.
Achievements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Science, Cornell University (Full Scholarship).
  • Manager of the YouTube channel Vừng, which shares insights on studying and international education, boasting 225,000 subscribers.
  • Marketing Specialist at U.S. tech startups such as Rewind AI and HackerNoon.
  • Marketing Intern at leading Vietnamese agencies, including Vietcetera Media and Dentsu.
